Office Support Manager

Part-time Office Support Manager (Grade 7) 30 hours/week Mon-Fri 9.00 am to 15.30 pm Term Time only.

Actual Salary = £21,140-£23,727

We are seeking an experienced and motivated school administrator who is looking for an excellent opportunity for progression. This role is ideal for someone who is ready to broaden their responsibilities and play a key part in the daily operations of a busy and supportive school environment.

As Office Support Manager, you will support the School Business Manager with the smooth and efficient running of the school office. You will take responsibility for a range of administrative, financial and operational tasks, ensuring high standards of service across the school.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the School Business Manager with the daily operations of the school office
  • Managing day‑to‑day administrative functions and ensuring effective office systems
  • Processing orders, invoices and financial documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Assisting with financial tasks as directed by the School Business Manager
  • Supporting elements of Health & Safety compliance, including maintaining records and assisting with routine checks
  • Providing HR administrative support, including maintaining staff records and assisting with recruitment processes
  • Leading and supporting office staff to ensure a professional, welcoming and efficient service
  • Managing competing priorities and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Communicating effectively with students, staff, parents and external partners

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has strong experience working within a school administrative environment
  • Demonstrates excellent organisational, communication and IT skills
  • Can work proactively and independently, while supporting and guiding others
  • Is confident in handling financial and administrative processes
  • Is committed to delivering a high standard of service
  • Is enthusiastic about progressing in their career and taking on wider responsibilities
