Sixth Form Transition
Parents/carers and students are given information during an evening presentation by staff and students from the study group based at Cannock Chase High School. Students in Year 11 then visit Cannock Chase High and have a tour around the site and spend some time in their new classroom and the Sixth Form Common Room in the Spring Term.
Students need to complete and application from if they wish to attend sixth form. They will then have an interview with the sixth form tutor. Once a final decision is made and externally accredited courses are complete, students will transfer to Cannock Chase High and participate in transition activities ready for the September start.
From September 2018 sixth form students will be based at Cannock Chase High School.
Transition into sixth form begins in the July of each academic year with a four week transition project in partnership with NCS and liberty and a number of transition days into sixth form classes.
